What we store
Your account email and login details, the farm records you enter, farm membership and role information, and settings you choose. Farm records may include locations, weather context, costs, inventory, labor, observations, and decisions.
How data is used
We use it to provide YFS, keep farm work separated by farm membership, generate reminders and decision support, send opted-in transactional emails, and deliver opted-in app alerts.
Service providers
Depending on the features you use, YFS may use Cloudflare for DNS and security, Cloudflare Turnstile for account protection, Google Maps for map features, Open-Meteo for weather lookups, Resend for opted-in email delivery, and VPS hosting providers to run the application. These services receive only the information needed for their function.
Location and weather
Farm and mapped-record locations are used for maps and weather context. Device location is requested only when you choose a location action. YFS does not use background geofencing.
Your choices
You can manage farm access, notification preferences, exports, and account deletion from inside the app. Account deletion currently disables the login while shared farm records may be retained so another farm member does not lose operational history.
